WNBA Team, Los Angeles Sparks Joins Forces with Divas In Defense to Teach Moms & Daughters to Kick Butt
The Los Angeles Sparks, WNBA Team, partners with Divas In Defense to teach Metropolitan Los Angeles females to protect themselves. "Spark of Life: Don't Be The Victim!" enables females as young as age 11 the necessary tools to protect themselves and their families.
Georgia State University Sorority Learns to Survive
The Georgia State University Chapter of Delta Zeta Sorority takes the initiative to learn how to protect themselves while on their own. The "On Her Own" program instructed the young women in personal & street safety and boundary setting & assertiveness. In addition, the ladies purchased self-defense products (i.e. pepper spray, stun guns and more) for added safety.
Awareness and Self-Defense Tips to Avoid Abduction
Divas In Defense participated in the prescreening of The Disappearance of Alice Creed (August 2010). We gave self-defense pointers on reducing the chances of being abducted and awareness tools.
Comcast OnDemand "Atlanta Mom"
In an effort to begin early training, we offered Mother/Daughter day at Piedmont Park (Atlanta) to encourage mothers and daughters to learn valuable, life-saving self-defense techniques. Comcast OnDemand (Atlanta Mom segment) came out to video us.
